"One mind split into two, reunited forming Our New Village."Observing our community we noticed the amount of poverty, mental health, and addiction that resides within our community. At that point, we decided to reach out to our community and start breaking chains in generational habits. We are looking to educate our community by providing support and resources as we organize events that will target a lot of our day-to-day challenges to help individuals to relate and break the cycle of mental health, addiction, and poverty.
Mission
To empower and unite African American and underserved communities through advocacy, education, and resource-sharing, addressing food insecurity and housing challenges while promoting civic engagement.
Vision
To have a vibrant, equitable community where all African American and underserved residents have access to nutritious food, safe housing, and a voice in local governance and decision-making processes.
